About Protein Spotlight
More About Us
Protein Spotlight was founded in the year 2000. The idea was to write about a specific protein - or a family of proteins - on an informal tone. Despite the description of hard facts – such as a protein's function or its use in the world of biotechnology – each article was to be a pleasant and relatively undemanding read for the Scientific Community. Hence, unlike 'Protéines à la Une', our French speaking review, Protein Spotlight is really addressed to those who already have a sound understanding of molecular biology.
We would like to encourage readers to write articles for Protein Spotlight, or perhaps simply suggest a protein they think would make a good story and we will write it up for you! You can do this by using our contact page. Any comments regarding the site or any of the articles are very welcome.
If you are visiting our site for the first time, sign up and we will let you know when a new article has been posted. And for those of you who have been with us for some time now, we hope that you will continue to enjoy reading our articles.
