Comments Population: Japanese.
Characteristics: Produces IgG lambda (JCRB=JCRB1391).
Characteristics: Requires a feeder layer of bone marrow stromal cells Both are irradiated with 20 Gy to maintain constant proliferation. After their release from the feeder layer, the cells dies within several days. The addition of IL6 immediately after the release enables the cells to survive a few weeks (PubMed=15491288).
