Cellosaurus U2OS TACR3 calcium-Nomad (CVCL_YK60)

[Text version]
Cell line name U2OS TACR3 calcium-Nomad
Synonyms Ca++ Nomad TACR3 (NK3)/U2OS; NK3 (TACR3) Nomad; NK3 Nomad
Accession CVCL_YK60
Resource Identification Initiative To cite this cell line use: U2OS TACR3 calcium-Nomad (RRID:CVCL_YK60)
Comments Population: Caucasian.
Characteristics: In absence of calcium, the fluorescent biosensor is localized in the cellular membrane. An increase in this second messenger concentration leads to change in the structural folding of Nomad biosensor that promotes its cellular relocation in the vesicular trafficking of the cells.
Characteristics: The green calcium-Nomad biosensor consists of a membrane localization peptide derived from interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain, a TurboGFP fluorescent protein, a calmodulin-binding peptide fused to a KDEL signal.
Transfected with: HGNC; 11528; TACR3.
Transfected with: UniProtKB; Q6WV12; Pontellina plumata GFP2 (with p.Lys5Glu, p.Val117Met, p.Val149Asp, p.Val151Asp, p.Ala155Thr, p.Phe168Ser and p.Leu200Asp = TurboGFP).
Transfected with: UniProtKB; P00552; Transposon Tn5 neo.
Transfected with: UniProtKB; P13249; S.alboniger pac (PuroR).
Derived from site: In situ; Bone, tibia; UBERON=UBERON_0000979.
