Breast Carcinoma Cell Line

Description A highly rearranged, near triploid cell line, derived by Fogh and Trempe (1975), obtained from Dr Mike O'Hare.
   
Notable Features Translocations involve all chromosomes, except 11 and 18. Five markers have been duplicated. Deletions were detected on chromosomes 1, 3, 5, 10 (duplicated), 15 and 18, and an isochromsome 1 is present.
