Involvement in disease:  Selective pituitary thyroid hormone resistance (PRTH) [MIM:145650]: Variant form of thyroid hormone resistance and is characterized by clinical hyperthyroidism, with elevated free thyroid hormones, but inappropriately normal serum TSH.
