Involvement in disease:  Van Maldergem syndrome 1 (VMLDS1) [MIM:601390]: An autosomal recessive disorder characterized by intellectual disability, typical craniofacial features, auditory malformations resulting in hearing loss, and skeletal and limb malformations.
