Involvement in disease:  Myopathy, congenital, with fiber-type disproportion (CFTD) [MIM:255310]: A genetically heterogeneous disorder in which there is relative hypotrophy of type 1 muscle fibers compared to type 2 fibers on skeletal muscle biopsy.
