Involvement in disease:  Incontinentia pigmenti (IP) [MIM:308300]: A genodermatosis usually prenatally lethal in males. In affected females, it causes abnormalities of the skin, hair, eyes, nails, teeth, skeleton, heart, and central nervous system.
